From: [email protected] (Tom Stevens) To: "Killian Family discussion list" <[email protected]> Date: Fri, 27 Dec 1996 17:52:32 -0500 Subject: Re: Who's Jacob Killion?*POP* Huh? Oh yeah, Jacob. I descend from him. <BG> Here's the short story on him: Jacob John KILLION born 16 Mar 1755, Orange, NC, married Jeannette (Jennie) CRISMERE, title: Jennie, died 18 Feb 1828, Scott, IN. Jacob died 28 Aug 1838, Sangamon, IL, buried: Lebanon Cemetery, Petersburg, Menard Co., IL. Source for birth & death: DAR Patriot Index. Jacob was a Revolutionary War Soldier
None of us know his ancestry. He may have had more kids. I thought for a long time that he was connected with Andreas' line (some descendants share a similar migratory path of NC>IN), but haven't made any connection, although Jacob's and Andreas' descendants married into each other. To avoid a huge posting, I'm making a public offer to E-mail anyone Jacob's descendancy as I have in my PAF files (about 35k). I also have an ahnentafel for Troy Keith of Daviess Co., IN, showing one way Jacob's and Andreas' descendants intersect (6k) and some Andreas descendancy (15k). Any takers? Happy Holidays and best to all,
