Subject: Killion (Goodwin) Family Reunion

One of the group of "snail-mail" folks joining in with the e-mail
Goodwin Killion researchers offered the following input for our next
Killion newsletter (due out in the immediate future).. 

"There is a KILLION family annual reunion on the 3rd Saturday of
September each year. It is held at Reagan Park, on Crockett Rd, which is
Highway 22 to Elkhart, Grapeland, Lovelady, Trinity, Huntsville, on the
way to I-45 and Houston. Park Avenue borders it to the south. It
supposedly starts early and ends early.Sounds like everyone brings a
covered dish for the 12 noon sharp lunch."

Subject: KILLION TEXAS REUNION

James, I had not yet responded to your question on this as I had to get
the answer from my snail mail contact---and she had been out of town.
Got the info this a.m..

The Killion reunion is in Palestine, Texas, Saturday, Sept 27. The
specific reunion location is within Palestine city itself at Reagan Park
, on Crockett Rd, which is also Highways 19 & 287. Reagan Park is
bordered on the south by East Park Ave.The reunion supposedly starts
early (8-9a.m) and ends early. Sounds like everyone brings a covered
dish for the 12 noon sharp lunch. If you plan on going to the reunion
and need further information please contact me (Pete Simmons,
[email protected]) for the Palestine contact person. It is my
understanding that this reunion is for descendants of the Goodwin
Killion line, and as we do not know the parents of Goodwin I guess that
means all Killion descendants are welcomed (at least those with a
covered dish of some sort).
